Biography:

Guido was born in Ravenna where began his musical studies, he’s graduate at the Conservatorio E.F. dall’Abaco, Verona with Diego Dini Ciacci, and subsequently laureate “avec Premier Prix” at the Conservatoire Superieur de Geneve with Maurice Bourgue. In 1991 he won the scholarship of P.M. Loria Foundation as best student of italian coservatories. He’s principal oboe at Teatro Carlo Felice of Genova e 1999 and collaborates with other orchestra and ensembles as Teatro alla Scala, Filarmonica della Scala, Accademia di Santa Cecila, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro La Fenice, Teatro Sao Carlos of Lisboa, Kammerorchester Basel and many others under the most important conductors. Has been invited professor during 7 years at Josè Antonio Abreu’s “Sistema” in Venezuela and he took masterclasses at Conservatorio Real of Madrid, Instituto Superior de las Artes La Habana and International College of Music in Kuala Lumpur. He has performed for European, Asian and Latin-American broadcastings and recorded CDs ans DVDs for Arts, Sony, Naxos, Bongiovanni, Dynamic, Decca, Denon, Genuin, RAI, Urania and Hyperion.
